welll my question would be why are you tube feeding, what's going on??Hey, Lacrystol... or @Amiga ...
How much (cc) and how often would you tube water and food for a 1lb juvie Call duck? She's not quite 4 months old...

Are you treating the injures, I had one attacked by a hawk and he kept shaking his head and everything would come back out, he finally died the poor thing. She was attacked by a hawk... can't eat or drink... got some fluids in her earlier and she is stronger, but I don't want to overdue it...

Can she dip her beak into some water? Because I know they have to clean those nostrils. Where are the injuries, head, body???
If I was you I would tube feed a small amount start with 5 cc twice a day to see if she can keep it down, then increase each day, see how should reacts with that.Head... unsure if she'll survive, but she is fighting so I am doing all I can to support her... no, she can't dip her bill, I've been keeping her nares clear for her... she responds to touch but hasn't gotten total head control back yet... she had severe swelling of her head, it is steadily going down and she is getting some control back...

1 pound calls are normally 1 to 1 1/2 pounds so she really doesn't need much. I don't think I would go more than 20ml per day but we can confirm with @casportpony
on the exact amount. Poor thing I do hope she pulls threw, are you giving her anything to help with the swelling?
Keep an eye on her poop, want to make sure everything is processing threw. so her pooping is going to play an important roll if she keeps the food down crossing fingers she pulls through..That sounds like a good start, thanks... I'm working on the fluids first to get her hydrated before food... I gave her a little antibiotic since it's a puncture wound and more likely to fester... dunno if that helps the swelling or what to give her for that...
