OK...I apologize...here's my promised update, just a little delayed...time does fly!
Anyways...for anyone who might be interested or who wants to compare my pics with theirs here's the final answers on gender:
1) pullet
2) cockeral
3) cockeral
4) cockeral
5) pullet
Now waiting to see what I'll end up ith this year...got another 17 chickes from a breeder and my little experiment with my broody SIlkie resulted in 4 out of 5 eggs hatching. The eggs were from last years chicks, 4 Blue Copper Marans and two Easter Eggers, one of which was a dud...but the other blue egg was from Josie, Pullet #5 on my photos, so she's now a Mom, well, a biological Mom anyways, since Guac, my SIlkie is raising the kids.
So, after a long time, this is the rest of the story...
