My female Mallard still limps in one leg. I let her out of the pen because she got better, but now she's back to limping. I'm going to put her back in the pen again until her leg heals.

What else should I do for her?

It seems like ducks are susceptible to straining their leg. If she is young make sure she has enough Niacin in her diet because that is important for leg development. Feeds for waterfowl specifically have enough niacin and I think Purina Flock Raiser does, too. To help her recuperate you might want to give her swimming time so that she can move her leg around without having to put weight on it, just make sure she doesn't strain the leg getting in and out of the water. Hope she gets better soon.

There is no indication how many drakes you have, but another factor that can add to hip/pelvic/leg injuries is gang breeding by multiple drakes or a very large drake breeding smaller hens.
