I'm letting my broody brood. she won't move, won't even blink. i put food in front of her and she won't eat it; corn, she won't touch it. the only reason i even know she is alive (aside from the slow, steady breathing, and her cold, dead glare), is she is usually in a different position when i check on her.

she slipped up today, though. i peaked in, she was sitting there, still as a statue, killing me over and over in her mind..... with feed crumbs all over her mouth! caught her!!!

thanks, guys and gals. I wish i would have taped it and could have edited along with all the times i've checked on her and she seemed dead to the world.

it was literally crusted all around her beak (she hadn't had a drink, and i'm sure had a bad case of cotton mouth)
