She wants to be a house chicken

Last night we lost power. Then we lost our gas at around the same time. Apparently there was a fire near the gas mane and they shut all the gas off to hour area. Then we called the electric company and they came out and checked our meter. Wires in the meter had caught fire and burned through. Thank God thats all that happened.

Fast forward to later that night when I went to bed in my sons room. It has a window that opens into the coop for rainy day treats. Well I opened the window for a breeze and went to bed. Through the night I faught with persistant cats licking, biting, and slapping in my head and face. This morning this is what I went through.

What I think is a cat: Smack on back of head
Me: Stop it
Smack
Me: Stop it
Smack PECK:
Me: WTH!
I look and its Ruby the lap chicken IN bed with me stareing at me. I woke up tosomething like this.

Good maybe it will make her shut her very loud and very annoying boyfriend Big bird up. He started in at 4:30 AM usually he is nice and waits till around 7 AM

Mr. Nosy (my B.O. roo) is now crowing his head off. He started about 5:15. He learned how to crow and now won't stop!!!!!
