SHE was caught in the act, cannibal, NOW what?

I would not hatch from an egg eater- it might have a genetic disposition towards egg eating... personal preference though.

As in eating broken or removing soft eggs from the nest is natural and correct- pecking still soft eggs that just came out of you or bulling other birds to get at egs is improper and not correct.

I AGREE I WILL NOT HATCH ANYTHING FROM HER.

I am fairly certain that egg eating is a learned behavior; however, I am old enough to not discount the possibility of anything when dealing with living creatures. Yes, that includes humans.

I agree, I have had her for 4 months now and she just recently picked up this bad habit, I would say she picked it up as soon as the three girls started sitting.. Perhaps she's jeolous, perhaps she doesn't want anyone to be a mommy, I will try scrambled eggs and the waxworm, perhaps that would keep her mind off of bother the other three girls, and find something worth wild out in the free ranging woods. I have a problem with the boys chasing her all the time, so I know she spends most of the time, in the coop. But will try some other distractions to see if we can break this little habit before sending her off to a new place or Chicken Jail. LOL
