Thanks so very much for checking on in the sweet munchkin. She's in surgery now and I'm praying she'll be okay
Huge snowstorm here last eve and all through the night - I thought the vets office wouldn't open today but to my surprise the vet answered the phone at 9 this morning - my street had just gotten plowed and so I was able to get her there shortly thereafter. She's so badly matted that he thinks a lot of her needs to be shaved (poor dear
). If it turns out she has previously been spayed then the problem with her going into heat would be a cyst or cysts that mimic the symptoms of heat - the trouble is that they are often difficult to find and so the situation can be permanent (lordy help me as she's been crying and spraying and all around losing her mind, and mine).
After some sad kitty losses in the recent past I was down to one kitty - Samantha. Sam hails from the streets of Trenton and has issues with other cats as a result of whatever she went through on the streets. So I wasn't going to get any other cats
for now. Rescue, adopt out, yes, but stay, no... Yet here we are! I am in love with 'She-who-needs-a-name' whom I may give an 'S' name to go with Sam
, maybe Sadie as suggested here (my mom loves that name) plus a whole lot of your inventive and fitting other names for middle names
. I like so many of them it really is hard to choose!
Thanks for being on this journey with me - there's no place like BYC
