Shedding/ malting duck

I feel a bit silly asking this but this is my first te owning ducks so I'm pAranoid about everything haha

My pekin duck has got white feathers all over the yard,like an excessive amount.
Is this normal?
I live in Australia and were going into summer but its not that hot yet

Don't worry, its OK, its just him molting. If it doesn't begin to re-grow then look for a different cause, but my bet would be hes molting, esp. considering the time of year :]
