No if anything I have found the opposite to be true. I am very familiar with sheep and wool as there are sheep farmers in the family some of them used to keep as many as 100+ sheep at a time. I don't use wool in my own nesting boxes personally mainly because I have no sheep and moved across the country from my family. However, I have seen wool used in nesting boxes with no issues because of other family members using it and if I had my own chickens I would have no problem using it in the nesting boxes especially in the winter time. I wear my wool jacket all of the time in the rain and have found it to protect against the elements better than many other materials while keeping me comfortable.Agreed, but I would think wool would be way above that and make a good job of overly keeping wet. Might be wrong
