Shell gland found in the laying area!

Hello, I am new to this site and just looking for some help. I have three chickens and have noticed for quite a while now that only two of them are laying, the two normal eggs are sometimes accompanied by a third strange looking egg. However today when checking on my chickens I noticed that there was what upon looking upto parts of the reporductive tract a part of what looks like the shell gland. I have done a quick search onine and cannot really find any information on this and just wondering what the best course of action people would recommend.

Yes, it looks like the pictures of most lash eggs that I have seen in links here. I believe it is from internal laying, but I haven't had much experience with it. Here is another link with pictures to read: http://www.adelaidechickensittingservice.com/blog/what-is-a-lash-egg
