Shell less duck egg with broken yolk next to it

Had I not seen that other yellow stuff...there would have no worries. It just made think....oh crap she is egg bound.

I'm glad noticed, because it's not normal. I've seen many shell-less eggs, but never one coated in yellow like that.

In the morning around 4 or 5 am

Hopefully she has enough calcium reserves to lay the next one, but if not, giving her calcium tonight would help.

I'm going to leave this thread....Don't get too worried...She is A Bird that is meant to lay eggs and is young ...

Ok I will run up to tractor supply, calcium citrate pills Or calcium gluconate

Calcium citrate is for humans in pill form. The cattle stuff is injectable that can be given orally.

Not really wanting to do injections...pills it is. What’s the dosage for the pills?
