shell less egg

my almost 3 year old hen just layed a shell less looking egg for the first time. she had been wanting to lay an egg all day and suddenly plopped out this shell less egg. She has been looking more tired recently. she is on omega egg supplements and a good laying feed what could be the issue. she is eating and drinking the same as normal.

Are you mixing the omega with the layer feed per the directions?

A soft shelled egg may just be a glitch, but since you report that she's looking more tired,
check her over for lice/mites and consider getting a fecal float to see if worms may be an issue.

i have her and a silkie rooster as indoor pets. ive checked her over and coulsnt see and lice or mites thsy do fight a bit but only becauee he tries to get freaky and ace isnt having it but other than that there is no stress and their outside most of ths day. ive figured it might have just been stress or lack of calcium im waiting for hee to lay another egg to see

he feathers do look rough so maybe a vitamin deficency?

really anything im eating if she can have it plus mealworms and lots of crickets outside

Give her a calcium pill once a day for a few days and see if that helps. One of my hens was laying soft shells in the last week. She's been getting a crushed pill mixed with boiled egg everyday and it's definitely helping her. I think she has laid two normal eggs now.

Oyster shells make their shells nice and hard.
