Shell less egg.

I noticed an egg in my coop that doesn't have a shell.
Is there a problem with one of my hens?
I have 12 RIR that have been laying eggs for about a month now, maybe that exsplains why I've only getting 11 eggs a day instead of 12.
Is this normal?

I'm not sure if I am correct but I can tell you that sometimes if its the first time the hen has layed, there first eggs are deformed or not developed right. It might not be the case with all of them but it has happened a few times with our chickens when they first started laying. Hope this helps.

I've been getting 11 eggs a day steady for 3 weeks out of 12 RIR hens. Today was the first time I noticed the rubber egg. They are all the same age from the same place. I wonder if it's just the 1 hen laying rubber eggs.

I wouldn't expect 12 eggs a day continuously. They do occasionally take a day off. With 12 young RIRs I would expect to average about 10-11 eggs a day.
