I'm glad she is doing much better!

If you find that her crop is not emptying overnight, then monitor it closely or begin treating that symptom.
Often when a hen has been having troubles expelling material, laying eggs or having reproductive issues, the crop and/or digestive systems is slowed too. Thank you! I checked her crop this morning and i’m happy to say it was empty. I will make it a daily habit in the morning. Im so happy she recovered. Thank you for your help!

Just to finish up the tread since she recovered, for anyone else out there: I took my chickens off of Kalmbach henhouse reserve. I have not tried the pellets, they might be great but the henhouse reserve was not a good match for my chickens. I think they just picked through and ate what they liked and left the rest, which was where the vitamin’s were. A lot of waste is all over the run.

I put them back on their old pellets and added rooster booster to the water and all my MMMs are laying good eggs again.

I haven’t really been happy with any pellets I’ve tried yet. I have ordered scratch and peck but it’s not here yet. I’m hoping it’s a winner.
