My Little Joe (LJ) has layed about a half dozen shell-less eggs. Its been three days since her last one. We check the yard every day. Any suggestions?

Sometimes new layers can have a few blips with their egg laying machines until they get them in full working order.
If she seems happy in herself and is healthy, eating & drinking ok I would not be too worried. Is she on layer feed or an all flock feed with oyster shell on the side?

Lots of good info in this article ~ https://www.backyardchickens.com/articles/common-egg-quality-problems.65923/

Our pullets have just started laying over the last few weeks. We have six and I have been finding the odd shell-less one. Not sure which chicken it is or if they were all from the same, but I figured as they are still new to this laying business they still have some kinks to iron out.
Incidentally, yesterday I found a pink shelled egg - so far all the eggs have been varying shades of green, so we have another new layer.

Thanks for the reply. As with many inquiries, often the situation forms an answer directly. My Little Joe laid a perfect little brown egg the next day. She laid 3 more consecutively. Then none for a few days. This past week, 4 again, then now two days with nothing. Must be her pattern?
