Would it be a good idea to take her out tonight? She is crying because she is lonely It would also be easier on me because I would know she is getting the proper temp.

Definitely. If it's easier on you, go slip it under her. I usually do it from the hen's rear side, especially when there are other chicks. It will cuddle right in and stop peeping almost immediately. (in my experience)

I set the baby by the mom and she just lifted herself up and the baby waddled in! Now they are all cuddling. This couldn’t have been a better ending to a stressful hatch.

I was just reading along all day. Everyone was very supportive and Banty especially stayed right with you. These types of threads are what BYC is all about to me. Happy endings are the best. Great job everyone!

I agree. Communities, like this one, where everyone comes together to help someone in need, are truly beautiful and rare. BYC is amazing and has helped many people including me. Thanks again to everybody. You guys are the best!

I was following this thread live from the start and cannot remember being that excited before lol.
