This morning I let them out of their coop and they usually take a big dump once they are out. Well I turned around to leave and there's an egg (without shell) just sitting there. Of course they ate it as soon as it happened. I think I know which bird it came from. I had been running out of oyster shell for the past week and had just yesterday been able to get to the feed store, so could it have been something from the lack of it in their diet or something else? This is the first time I have ever had this happen and am Kind of FREAKED out. If anyone can tell me something to do to keep it from happening again I would really appreciate it. Thank you.
