I found on the floor of my coop a shell less egg. it wasn't broken. What went wrong?
I have a mommy with her 9 chicks on the floor and 3 roosters and 3 other hens sleeping above in there boxes.

Sometimes they just lay shell less eggs, make sure you have oyster shells available at all times, other causes are heat and stress, and starting laying or quitting for the season, it isn't anything to worry about unless it happens a lot.

How old are the layers?
Softies are more common with birds just staring to lay.
3 rooster and 4 hens could be causing some stress(to say the least).
Are they sleeping in the nests?
