shellless egg ?

I had a VERY soft shell this morning, never had one before (well I might have because I have found the splattered remains of egg in the hen house before, but I assumed that an egg had just broke and they took full advantage of it)
I just made sure the oyster shell bowl was full, I just thought it to be a random thing that they do everyonce in awhile

she is moulting, has been for a while, but only a few feathers here and there...maybe she is going to let loose a bunch of feathers soon. My girl just turned a year old around Easter.

Thought I would update... My hen is back to her normal self ,she laid the shelllessegg then for two days NO eggs & then she has laid everyday since. I have 7 hens & get 7 eggs almost everyday. Thanks for everyones replies.
