Shellyd2008 the coturnix are hatching!!! 16 days!!!!

WOWZIE the coturnix are hatching. So far a blank egg and a y-t(young-tuesday) egg has hatched. I cannot wait till tomorrow to take a good pic and show ya!!!

Oh I hope they do well!! I tried to post on this thread when you first messaged me, but this stupid laptop is being a pita tonight. That's what I get for turning it off

Keep me posted!! I'm glad the young ones are hatching, I was kinda wondering about those. That male has a lot of girls atm, so I wasn't sure if he could keep up with supply and demand

Yes, shelly I was excited when I saw it was the young ones too!!! You always wonder if they are fertile or not.

3 T's have pipped (tuxedo)
1 T has hatched
1 A has pipped(adult)
1 y has hatched(young)
1 blank has hatched
2 blanks are pipped

that is as of now. I have 3 total hatched and they are lively dudes!

ok as of this morning 7:01 here is what I have....OH yeah, I got a surprise 2 of my friends partridge cochins hatched!! The last picture is what I have left of yours to hatch just the 2 rows at the bottom of the screen!

The A&M and the tuxedos are from my eggs? That's so cool! I knew that was possible, but so far anyone who has hatched the tuxedos eggs has gotten tibetans

How many are there now?

BTW, is that very last egg on the bottom weeping? It looks a bit weird!

3 tuxedo's (2 tuesday, 1 monday)
5 from the last day you collected(no markings at all)
2 partridge cochin babies(my friends eggs)

No, I think the last egg on the bottom had a crack in it, it is not weeping or anything so I left it in there. any weeping seepage and they are GONE GONE GONE!!! I am not sure the remaining ones will hatch, I will make the DD check on them for me...I am leaving this week till Thursday! That part is scary....I hope they take care of my little ones ok!
