She's been plucked... well, like a chicken!

My little Scots Grey, Elsie, has a large section of her neck feathers completely plucked this morning!



You can't see how big it is so well from any one picture, but it goes all the way around her neck up the other side, leaving only a small patch untouched at the top where you can see there. From the postion it couldn't be her doing it to herself, so one of the other hens (I have 6 in total) must have done it! Elsie here is one of three girls currently being broody but they seemed to be sharing the nestboxes without a fight, could one of them be plucking her to try to see her out?? And if so, what do I do to make sure it doesn't happen again? Poor Elsie. :(
