I have a rouge egg layer. I went to water my front flower bed this evening, and what did I find? A small hole with an egg in the middle! Recently, I've made them stay in their coop for the most part because they've been acting too wild for my taste. She just started laying eggs again after going broody over a month ago, so we're a week back into the egg laying.
Shes been doing well with laying in the house, even though I moved the house and coop. But I left them out today to try to combat our spider problem and she went crazy and laid an egg in the flower bed.
She used to go to the house when it was time to lay the egg, so I don't know what happened.
Any ideas? They stay cooped up a lot of the time now, but I do try to let them out every other day or so for a few hours at least.
Thanks!
