My first Lavender Silkie is here!!!!!! Just born.... because silkies you really can't tell if it's a boy or a girl when they are born, I have decided to temporary call her "Lucy" if she ends up being a boy I will call him "Ricky"...

what kind of flooring is your silkie chick on?? is that the flooring she hatched on?? was just wondering as I have 9 chicken eggs hatching on 3/25 and wasn't sure if that metal grid that remains after you remove the egg turner is suitable for new hatchlings....thanks.

He got a flat plastic board and we put that foamy like stuff that you can get at a dollar store for you cabinets, so that your dishes won't wobble every where, not sure what the name of it is. then he just taped it all up on the oposite side..
