Your photo kinda looks like the one I bought and I was told it was an OEGB. She/he looks a little older than yours.

The length of the down has more to do with incorrect incubation as I understand it. Although, I did have an araucana come out with nearly zero down when all other chicks were fully downed, so I'm sure genetics can play a role, too. I know that it is not a serama. If it is very tiny, those are usually the OEGB or Sebrights, and your little one isn't a Sebright so I'd cast a vote for OEGB.

And Paddock36, your chick looks to be a cockerel.

I checked out the OEGB pics last night and they are some beautiful birds! I'm sure my friend will enjoy knowing what she's got now. Thanks, again!
