I use the mix on the body and the douche for the face. For the face I'll put some douche on cotton balls and wipe down the face, give it a couple minutes then wipe down with a clean damp cloth.

Dogs don't actually hate skunks, they love them. Skunk essence is a very loud "calling lure" that will draw canines in from everywhere. Keep the stuff for the peroxide mix on hand, its the best there is.
