Shhhh I have chickens. But what do I have?!

Well long story short I have chickens and I shouldn’t. But the universe wanted me to have them! Who am I to argue? They were “older chicks” that a farm store was getting rid of. Straight run. Mixed breed bin. That was about a month and a half ago. I was told they were two barred rock pullets, a polish and a RIR. Nope. How about two barred rock, probably roosters? A bantam maybe Cochin I’m thinking. And a cream legbar (pretty dang sure)! Which weren’t even listed as ordered to that store. So help me please. I need these to be mostly girls. We CANNOT risk a rooster.

They all look female to me. I see a cochin, two Barred Rocks, and a CCL.

Barred Rocks are very easy to sex. They carry two copies of barring, which removes more pigment from the feathers.

You’re very lucky, those all look like pullets to me!

At this point in time all birds appear to be pullets, and I think you are correct in your breed assessment.

I agree, I believe you have all pullets, and I'm thinking you were spot on with the breed guesses
