Lord have mercy! These 3-week-old guineas began peeping this morning and will not shut up. They were mixed in with chicks the same age and suddenly overnight the size difference was astonishing. So I separated them. I thought this might silence them...but nooooooooooooo. They are STILL peeping.
Any ideas? They have food, water, adequate heat and room.

Try adding a mirror in with them so it gives them the illusion that there are more of them in the brooder. It usually calms my keets, plus gives them something to do

Haha! I know exactly what your feeling and I'm going through the same thing right now.
Sounds like this?

and I agree.. the growth rate is amazing! I think that the game bird food\ urkey starter helps that considerably too. Since the 10 days of posting that video they look like totally different birds.
These guys usually shut up once the lights are off and usually get louder when more food is given or they see daylight or go outside on a sunny day.

If your keeping them inside while young then perhaps moving them to a different area might be best so they don't bother you as much. oh, and shut the door and get some ear muffs

If you think they are noisy now, wait till they are older. Talk about being loud. With Guineas they say you either love them or hate them. I like the noise, (warning, warning) even the chickens give a heads up when they start yacking. They have saved everyone from a stray dog, a fox, a cat and who knows what else that was about to grab one or two from the flock. The dog was from down the street. Our dogs don't bother them.
