Shine the light?

I keep the light on in the "henhouse" all the time... good? bad? no matter?

IMO, best to turn it off at night. Imagine trying to sleep with a light in your eyes.

I'd shut if off. Put it on a timer if you're afraid you won't remember to turn it back on. We have ours turn on for a hour or so at dusk to help coax the reluctant into the darker side of our coop. Probably we don't even need that, but it seems to help.
