Now that this is covered, onto the rules, ranks, and submission forum!
Please Read First

A) By participating in this game, I promise that all BYC Rules will be followed and that I have read and understood the Role Play Rules that are in a sticky at the top of the Games forum.

B) I promise that all content is to be rated G and suitable for all ages.

C) I promise that there will be no swearing, cursing (including censoring by using symbols) or inappropriate adult sexual activity or innuendo. This extends to mating, breeding or innuendo in non-human characters as well.

D) I promise to treat others with respect and kindness as is the BYC way.

E) I promise not to post any material that is a violation of copyright. Basically this means: if you didn't create the content (like an image / picture) and don't have direct permission from the content creator to post it, then don't.

~In wolf hierarchy, the males tend to dominate other males and the females dominate other females so that there is generally a low-ranking member of each sex~

Alpha's: Male and Female
The male and female leaders of the pack are called the breeding pair (formerly referred to as alphas). These two animals lead the pack during a hunt and often eat first when a kill is made. They typically are the only wolves in a pack to mate and produce pups, however, in areas where prey is abundant and life is mostly stress-free, multiple litters within a pack can occur. So yes, other member's wolves can have their own litters!
Alpha male for Lonestar pack is taken.
Alpha male and female of Shining pack is open, but I ask that the member who wants this rank choose one or the other, male/female.

Betas: There can be two, a male and female
Not much is written about betas, and their role in the pack structure is unclear when compared with the well-defined positions of alpha and omega.
The female beta of Shining Pack is taken but open for LoneStar members.
Male is open for LoneStar/Shining Fur

While the positions of mid-ranking wolves are somewhat fluid, the beta generally enjoys a more stable existence. Since there is something of a separate hierarchy for males and females, there will generally be a beta female as well as a beta male.
To put it simply: Betas are second in command, dominant over all wolves but the alphas

Midrankers: The wolves of the pack in between Alphas and omegas.
It is extremely difficult for a mid-ranking wolf to depose (take over the rank) of a well-established alpha or beta. However, there is always hope of moving up a peg or two in the pecking order and improving one’s lot ever so slightly.


Omegas: Just this once, there will be a male and female.
LoneStar: None taken
Shining Fur: None taken
In some ways, the omega/omegas are like the court jester.
The lowest in the totem pole, The omega lives on the outskirts of the pack, usually eating last. The omega serves as both a stress-reliever and instigator of play. It is the baby-sitter and usually more puppy than wolf.

The alpha pair would never allow the omega male and female to mate, therefore the omegas are not pair-bonded to each other like the alphas. (But because I am a kind person, there may be an exception!😉)

(Pups will be a rank opened when two members wolves ( of the opposite sex) get together) ~ (I am doing this to keep order in the roleplay! And if there is anything you want to discuss, you should PM me!:))

Pups: The youngest in the pack!
These youngsters don't have certain ranks in the pack, they just all flock together and are all cared for by the whole pack together! Unless the pups are from the beta or alpha pair, they will be in line for the rank of their parents!

Loners: Male and female, but only two of these!
A lone wolf is an animal that acts independently or generally lives or spends time alone instead of with a group. The term originates from wolf behavior. Normally a pack animal, wolves that have left or been excluded from their pack are described as lone wolves.
These wolves can be either in Lonestar or join Shining, but most loners should be part of LS (LoneStar)



There will be only two packs, the Shining fur pack, and the Lone star pack, (This is for the lone wolves)

Physical Description: she is a solid white wolf with crisp red eyes. Her left ear is ripped. She has longish fur. She has a tall lanky build, perfect for running and jumping.
Personality: she is a more layed back alpha and loves to be around the lower ranks. She respects life, even the omegas, but even she will beat up on them when she's frustrated or mad. Though she can usually keep it under control.
Other: ~optional. Tanya was born from a loner mother that had joined the pack. She wasn't born as the alphas pup but instead worked her but off to earn the spot herself and prove herself worthy of the rank she holds now.

Physical Description: he's a dusty brown with blue eyes and a thick build.
Personality: koda is a fun loving younger wolf who tends to like to wonder and explore. He's friendly and daring, and often not afraid to assert himself. He loves a good challenge and isn't afraid to accept them
Other: ~optional: he was born and raised in the pack.

But, Odin will have to fall in love with Tanya first, before she becomes his mate!
But she can remain alpha! 😉
