Shipped duck eggs! need advise

I have done both and I have found that when you order ducklings (or chicks, or buy live animals vs hatching or implanting) you have MUCH better luck getting what you want. And less disappointment!
Its fun to hatch your own, but there are so many variables. 1 being just this, not everyone is honest about what they are selling. So you may end up with the wrong breeds or cross breeds, or rotten/ old eggs.
Incubators are all different as are hatching styles, not to mention the chance of losing power! In the end, it is sometimes cheaper to spend more $ on babies than to buy 2-3 batches of eggs just to get a few to hatch. But it's all personal preference

I agree with u! But I just love hatching them! I wish there were ppl close to me with eggs but there osnt so not much I can do!

How old are ures? I have 5 month olds right now waiting for them to start laying! I hope with celtic oaks eggs I get some babies and I can get some from the guy down south of me so I hope I don't have to get any more shipped eggs only bc the hatch rate is so much lower then home layed eggs! Thanks for the offer thou I will keep it just in case I need some more eggs sometime!
