Shipped Eggs being shipped during Heat Wave!!! HELP!!!

I ordered some partridge eggs and I was hoping it would take this long to arrive, but i received an e-mail that told me that the eggs were being pushed back a week for shipping. IT'S DURING AS HEAT WAVE!! They guarantee 2 day shipping, and they will ship on Monday May 2nd, so im expecting them on Wednesday May 4th. When they arrive, im planning on storing them (at 65 degrees) until midday on thrusday so they hatch on a saturday (May 28th)

Will they be okay??????? Last time i ordered eggs, it was early spring and it was about 60 degrees (i got a 10/13 hatch rate!!) im just SOOO worried!!!!! will the heat mess up the growing embryos? it will be about 90.

What are your experiences with shipped eggs in hot weather???

How hot is too hot for partridge eggs? Where are you that's having a heatwave? I'm in Oklahoma and the highest we've gotten to so far this year is maybe 82.

When my chicken eggs shipped it was 98*F in the shade, closer to 100+ in a mail truck.

Biologically speaking proteins start to denature (come apart) in extended periods of heat above 104*F it take hours for chicken eggs internal temp t get that high.

(as evidenced by ppl with 108*F spikes having hatches.)

that if the eggs internal temp is over 95ish *F and then you cooled them down that would mess things up.

That's -why- I set mine in the incubator immediately, they were HOT to the touch.

Maybe the shipper will ship with a cool pack, if not I'd get your incubator ready now, just incase you decide to chance it and put them in right away (w/o 'rest') if they hatch early w/o running 'hot' you will know they were already started.

yeah, one time i got quail eggs like that. even the BOX was so hot i couldnt pick it up!!! i thought all my eggs were gon-ers, but amazingly, 5 hatched (out of 15. one is weird though. he doesnt walk right) i did what you did, i put them in right away, but i cant do that this time because that would make them hatch on a friday, and i refuse to miss my hatch again

i missed ALL of my ducklings hatch last time!!! i was in school!!!

sooo... 95??? ok. it wont be THAT hot. (i hope) im worried that the embryo will begin to grow, and then me cooling it down will kill it or something. thanks.
