I saw the picture and do not think it's mushy chick. My word. I apologize for that awful sentence. I was writing quick because I was looking for information on mushy chick
Haha yeah, that was an embarrassing sentence. So what happened was I was using the terrible Little Giant incubator. It was fine until day 20. The humidity got way up after I took the turner out and the temperature dropped to 95-97 and I couldn’t regulate it no matter what I did. I freaked out and in the morning bought the 360.I was having trouble understanding but didn't want to ask.
Thank for fixing it.
What were you keeping the humidity at?
I use a little giant and I have excellent hatch rates.Haha yeah, that was an embarrassing sentence. So what happened was I was using the terrible Little Giant incubator. It was fine until day 20. I figured none of the chicks would hatch because of it but three did.
I bought a Govee and let it go to room temperature before putting it into the incubator. I didn’t salt test it but its accurate because I stuck it into the 360 and it has the same temp and humidity as the machine is sayingI use a little giant and I have excellent hatch rates.
But I want to know is did you buy a humidity gauge and salt test it?
Machines are not always right.I bought a Govee and let it go to room temperature before putting it into the incubator. I didn’t salt test it but its accurate because I stuck it into the 360 and it has the same temp and humidity as the machine is saying
What was your humidity at throughout the incubation?I bought a Govee and let it go to room temperature before putting it into the incubator. I didn’t salt test it but its accurate because I stuck it into the 360 and it has the same temp and humidity as the machine is saying
