What is your opinion on shipped eggs? I have heard different things about how long to let them sit before incubating and whether or not to turn them right away. I know you are supposed to let them sit for 12-24 hours before incubation. Do you turn the eggs right away or not? I have heard to NOT turn the eggs for the first 3 days of incubation and then I just read that another does not turn eggs for a full 7 days. What do you think works? I live on the west coast and most of the eggs I am thinking of ordering are originating from back east. I know that is a long way to ship eggs. What do you think is the best method to incubate shipped eggs? I have a Brinsea octagon 20 EX so it is fairly automatic if I just plug in temp and humidity. I plan on incubating at 40% humidity for the first 18 days, then at 70 % for lockdown during the final 3 days.
