That's adorable.
Our girl is a Sussex and she's not that big. And we used lots of straw for the bedding
A bowl shaped nest is essential for good incubation. For me grass hay was a far better nesting material than straw.
 
I was just there for chickens lol I'll have to go back. Also I'm very upset with tractor supply because they sold me what was supposed to be a hen and ended up being a rooster.😕
That's about normal for TSC.
