yeah... i'm tilting just the carton inside... not the whole incubator... although tilting th ewhole incubator would solve the higher and lower too close to the heating element thing.. lol.....

Nope it wouldn't. The heat will still layer. The entire low end of the incubator will be one temp and the entire high end will be another.
