Shipped eggs

I am about to get some eggs about a 10 hour drive. How do i handle them once i get them? Should i let them sit a night at least? I plan on putting them under a chickem

If you candle them look closely at the air sack to make sure it is still attached. Most shipped pea eggs will dislodge so letting them sit 24 hours point down will help a little. Don't expect more than a 10% hatch, if you get better that will be great. If you go get them they will be much more viable.

Lucky! That’s awesome! I can hardly wait for chicks. My peahens don’t start laying until the middle to end of May. We got 7 inches of snow here last night.
