How much of a hatch rate would you get if you got shipped eggs

Depends on how well they're treated while being shipped, the distance, how they're packaged, any damage sustaimed, age and health of the parents.

Most seem to say a 50% is best to hope for

Like how far is really really bad to them I'm in texas so in your opinion what state would be too far

I wouldnt know. Ive gottem eggs from florida to montana and still had hatches. And yet could easily have eggs disturbed so much from butte that none hatch

i would definitely like to have some good quality orps and I like the hatching egg experience its really fun and I also ordered 12 shipped button quail eggs all the way from Pennsylvania almost all of them developed greatly but not a single one hatched but one pipped and died in the shell

So that has made me really scared to even try to hatch shipped eggs and as you know most people wont give you a refund yada yada

I get all eggs from Ebay.
1st time- 50% 3/6
2nd time- 75% 3/4

Well that's pretty great i may just order the same ol cochin bantams instead that i know are already warm and snuggly and alive

I had some shipped from Pennsylvania and I’m in California they did fine 75% hatch rate for me some were just infertile though
