hi everybody, i just ordered some eggs from a gentlemen
they arrive today. the question is when you receive them do
you have to let them sit for awhile before you put them
in the incubator. first time ordering eggs. thanks would
appreciate some advice.

I let mine sit for a minimum of 12 hours. Take them out of all the packaging and just let them breathe and settle down for a day, then incubate.
 
You can let them sit 12-24 hours, or put them in sooner, as soon as they are up to room temp. Don't want to put cold eggs in a warm bator. I've even set them within a couple hours and had a good hatch rate.
 
thanks everybody. one more question maybe you can help
when they got here 3 where busted there was egg yolk on all
them i washed them with some cold water. was that bad or good.

I'm a newbie, but I've heard you should rinse with warm water (about 100 degrees) if you're going to wash them. It could affect the hatch rate.
 
So what I hear is, cold water shrinks pores and soaks in bacteria, while warm water keeps them open. Put them in the bator anyways, it's still possible
