shipped eggs

Ive read all the posts of people having poor hatch rates with usps shipped eggs ( myself included 5 out of 24 )

Has anyone tried shipping UPS or FEDEX? with any better results?

I think shipped eggs are a gamble no matter who ships them. If your mail is delivered late in the day you may want to have the shipper put your number on the box and request that the PO call for pick up. That saves them from riding around all day on the delivery route.

I personally have had good success with shipped egg (Knock on wood), but its always a gamble

I've had great hatch rates with shipped eggs. The only time it hasn't been 80% or higher is if they arrived broken or I messed up with humidity. Good luck with what you decide to do.
