when can i put my shipped eggs into the bator? the oldest were collected on the 7th which makes them 10 days old today thanks to the stupid postal service they arrived late
Might be a good idea to put them straight in, but don't turn them for the first 24 hours.
That gives them time for the contents to settle but doesn't make them wait another day before starting incubation.
I agree, put them in ASAP but don't plug the turner in for a day or 2, depending on what the air cells look like when you candle them. personally i marked on the egg with pencil, tracing the outline of the 'broken' air cells, so i could keep track of how they were developing.
