danrut101 just hatched out 9 out of 9 eggs I shipped him from MS to TX and boy is it hot right now. So it just varies.

Marie I think you just have "special" eggs. All 9 of mine from you are still going. I have never had 100% still going on day 14, especially shipped eggs

I had a great hatch on first shipped eggs and Marie Martin's too. I highly recommend her eggs. I have the sweetest littl chickies from her. I would love to get more.In between I have had lousy hatches on shipped eggs.
It really depends on what the postal service does to them and if they have been x-rayed.
I had two batches of eggs shipped that were wrapped extremely well and none were broken but they must have been x-rayed and shook around alot.
I have some in the bator now so wish me luck.

My first hatch we lost power for over 8 hours and the temp went down to 80, I got 12 out of 24, I think.

My second hatch my temp went up to 110.

I got 18 out of 40.
