I should have put that in the first description... the orloffs had the furthest to travel, the bantam rir and quail eggs the shortest. the other 3 are from the midwest? wherever that is

I kinda also expected the memory foam packed eggs (bantam barred rocks) to be indestructible...and the Marans eggs (ohio)- I woulda pegged them all goners- as I tossed a stinkyyyyy rotten one the other day.

another experiment...

quail eggs shipped from kansas on 6/27 arrived 6/29 and set in the 100` incubator, no turning for 36-48 hours.

The flight distance from Kansas (KS) to Florida (FL) is:
1,140 miles / 1,834 km

The daytime heat was over 100 degrees.


first airlift from hatcher to brooder saw 13 chicks.
