I’d appreciate some advice-
I’ve set some silkie hatching eggs that I got in the post in the upright position in egg cartons following the advice for eggs with detached air sacs (my previous lot of eggs had terribly detached/saddle shape air sacs). Although I candled them before setting I couldn’t really see the air sac then but just went ahead with this method as a precaution.
Now on day 7 the air sacs appear to be in the right position and attached at the fat end of the egg. Should I lay them on their side and turn on the automatic turner (that is, go back to the normal incubation method) or should I carry on with them upright in the egg carton and just tilting the incubator 3 times a day?
Thanks
