Shipped peafowl in pics (pic heavy)

How do you fit the train in the box and does it make it thru shipping? I figured Brad plucked it since there wasn't any in the box, the first pair we got was three years old. We were at an auction one time and there was a peacock for sale in a homemade box and the box was about 6 feet long. The seller made the box to wide and the cock managed to turn around after the sale. It pulled out most or all of the train (It was hard to tell) needless to say the buyer wasn't happy
