Shipped Rooster not eating/drinking. Need helpful advice ASAP

I've lost 5 very expensive silkies in much this same way out of the 3 times I bought them.

It seems they just get brain damage from the stress or shipping and nothing can stop it once it starts. They seem to be going good then nothing. Gr. I'm so sad. I lost a wonderful hen yesterday that I bought. And I didn't even get her shipped! I picked her up. The seller said she probably got stepped on in the box on the way to the swap.

I believe a good seller would resend new birds for the price of shipping. Even if it's just chicks or eggs or whatever. I know I would. But I have yet to see that happen.

I am sorry the same thing happened to you. I've experienced it way too many times myself. Heck. I've lost about the same number of silkies that I own living.

When you buy 4 $200 birds. You shouldn't loose half of them. It just doesn't seem right. :'(

Thanks so much. It is very sad!! She has offered me another boy for shipping but I don't know if I want to chance it after reading the responses here. I may take her offer of eggs. I just needed a roo. Wish I could find someone closer to me with quality birds.

Thanks for all the support!

Marie
