I had a dozen shipped silkie eggs and today I should put them in lockdown. I started the first 5 days with them fat side up without using the turner for wobbly air cells. They have been in the turner and I have 3 ready for lockdown. When I handled them it looks like the air cells are not real big and one is on the side...do I put them in lockdown with the air cell up at the top in a carton or leave them on their side? Any recommendations? This is my first time. Thank you

When the air cells are on the side it's a tough call, but I'd put it air cell up. Next time lower your humidity to under 30% so the air cells will be larger.

So the one that seems to have an air cell on the side lay that 1 on its side and the rest put in the egg carton cups air pocket up?
