Shipping adult birds??

Has anyone ever gotten or shipped adult chickens? I was curious to how they held up. Thinking of getting some started or older birds off eggbid...

I won't order or ship live birds. I've done it twice now with bad results. The first time the PO delayed delivery, the second time the bird got sick from the stress and I could do nothing to save her.

There are many who do it on a regular basis but it certainly has not worked for me. Just in case you haven't thought of it yet, shipping this time of year is not a good idea for older live birds. Its too hot.
