I am so confused!
I have been getting different information everywhere I turn :(
Here is my dilemma...
I got 2 Plymouth Barred Rock chicks at TSS. Turns out they are Bantams! No where did it say that they are!
My top hens in my little Backyard Flock will take those little cuties apart.
I can not keep the pair!
Now there is a nice Lady in Ohio, who is willing to take both. She has tried to get some BR Bantams in her area, but had no luck.
I am not selling the pair to her!!! I would like to ship via USPS and split the shipping cost.
I know I need a shipping box, but what else is there?
Is there additional paperwork?
Do I really have to be NPIP certified?
I am not trying to do any business! I am just trying to get my chicks to a nice place where they can live out their life!

Call your county's Agriculture Agent or your State Veterinarin and ask what the rules/laws are in both states.

Some states don't require NPIP, some do. For example Virginia (I think)requires NPIP certification to ship out of AND into the state. Breeders that don't want to be busted, will not ship chicks to VA if they are not NPIP.
