I would add a pack of Grow Gel, that way they have food and water in gel from. That certainly takes the stress out of the equation. I always pay extra for the grow gel when I order birds.

Do they eat it?
So far anything we've ever put in the shipping boxes for day olds and older birds seems to go un-touched.​

They will eat some of it as they are getting hungry. The rest you give them in their brooder so they finish it off. It has vitamins and electrolytes so it is really good for them. It is an insurance for me and I don't have to worry to much, if the shipment is late. Happens quite often, since we are somewhat remote. Regular mail is always a day late.

The 25-chick boxes are $2.75 for 1-4, I've gotten up to 8 goslings shipped to me in one of the 25 chick boxes from Metzer.

I usually sell 10 goslings at a time. Could they fit in the 25 chick box or would I need a 50?

8 will fit just fine so I'd say you could do 10 unless it's really hot outside.

Wow I have never sent that many goslings (8 - 10) in a small chick box.
I would be concerned about somebody getting squashed with those numbers.
I'd say 4 - 6 but maybe my goslings are bigger???
