Shipping day old/juvenile quail

For day olds, what if...

There was Gro-Gel in the box, with a heat pack if it's too cold? Shipped Express? Would it work do you think? i've talked to some other people who have great success with this.

Thanks!

I'd be happy to ship day olds on request. I keep Gro-gel, 25 and 50 chick boxes, nest pads and heat packs on hand for shipments

If you had gro-gel they should be fine. I disagree with quaillady on shipping large numbers. Most of us know that one of the main causes of death in day-olds is piling from being cold...having a large number of 'snuggling' chicks in a box just increases the chances of them piling up I would think.

I'm assuming express, right?

CHECK THE LINK I POSTED EARLIER, ITS ALL IN THERE.... DAY OLD CHICKS MAY BE SHIPPED EXPRESS, ALL OTHERS OVERNIGHT ONLY.
DAY OLDS MAY BE SHIPPED IN CHICK BOXES, ALL OTHERS MUST GO INTO HORIZON BOX

Yes ship express, Many of my button quail have been delivered within a day. I did just send 10 adult quail to Texas and that will take 2 days from PA. I am anxious to hear if everything went ok. I used a USPS quail box added kale, grapes, apple cut up and the gel.
